It's Time

I guess it's time for a new post. Sorry that I've been kind of AWOL... I have had a busy life lately with school, dance, the musical... and my latest thing: I've been asked to be one of the dollies of the follies. For those of you who don't know me well, I have an inability to say no. It causes problems in my life, and I get super stressed and spread thin, and yet I still can't tell people no. Good times! Anyway...

My sister-in-law Vanessa got married last Thursday, and we made the trip to Utah for it. She looked great, and we're so glad that we were able to share her special day! Congrats Nessa and James! They got married in the Draper temple, which is one that I've never been to, so it was fun to go to a new place.

Friday we were able to go to Salt Lake and take the kids around temple square. We went to the church history museum and then took in a viewing of the testaments. Brens was a little confused when he asked if it was a movie theater, we said yes, and he said- then why can't I have popcorn? Ha ha ha! The flowers at temple square were beautiful, and I probably overdid it a bit, but I did love it!

Saturday night we had Nikki's bachelorette party, and it was so much fun!!! It was 80's theme and boy, did we go all out. I thought it made it twenty times as fun to get all dressed up and crazy! Nikki said it was a blast, so that made it that much better. I won't go into all the details, but we embarrassed her a little, got some free popcorn, and had a personal fashion show! Good times!
